A self-interested extradimensional entity that uses human corpses to interact with the physical world.

Oh, Can I, Wait, Uh, Look— Yeah, There We Go: Mullanvi is able to possess corpses anywhere, including within the Library. While it can always leave a corpse at anytime without hesitation, it takes about ten minutes after entering a new one to get used to the physical world again. It only possesses recently deceased or preserved bodies in order to maintain appearances. Each transfer is incredibly painful, and Mullanvi prefers to keep any given body for the greatest amount of time that it can.

Look At That: Mullanvi is extremely fascinated by worlds and how they work, particularly physical realms like Earth and where the Library is situated. As such, he is somewhat quick to notice things and able to deal with any given world. Conversely, it also gets easily distracted.

My Favorite Color is Me: Mullanvi is mainly concerned with its own interests. It doesn't outright dislike others, but it tends to ally with whatever happens to be working towards its intentions at the moment; as such, it tends to be a very flaky ally after a goal has been reached. However, when it is allied with someone for a purpose, it will stay loyal to them until the deed is done.

What? It Was Just Lying Around: Mullanvi doesn't quite grasp the concept of ownership or sentimentality. As such, he tends to use things he finds without a second thought, including recently deceased corpses.

Personal History

Mullanvi was never born nor created, but always just was. It exists in a separate plane from the physical realms, but finds itself fascinated by them, and often visits them by utilizing wasted vessels, preferrably human. It spends most of its time in the Library, but if it overhears talk of something that interests it, it will follow it.
