Okay, this is going to be a bit of a timeline as well as listing major plots and the small stuff that I can remember.
The Archives.
Theomagus was given a key to access the Archives of the Wanderer's Library, and a book to write down what he finds there. There are a wide variety of rooms in the back, and one theory is that the Library is just a small part of the Archives. Considering the Library's big enough to have its own ecosystem, this is considerable.
The Archives is outside of the normal Library, so violence can be done within it. Noted areas are as follows:
The Clock: Gigantic clock tower that is tied to the Library. It has recently struck one, and if it gets to twelve, bad things are going to happen.
The Boiler Room: Docents are working here, and this probably provides power to the Library. This leads to…
The Nook: This was a safe spot, seeing as it is an apartment in an alternate Earth. Outside the apartment is a post-apocalyptic Chicago, but this cannot be reached due to the walls and windows being indestructible. Presently, it's a bit of a mess due to all of the blood shed.
The Circle: This is on the other side of a secret door in the Nook, and was where The Black Dog was bound. Eljer broke the weakened circle, releasing the Dog to the rest of the Archives.
The Card Catalog: This is where the Archivists keep track of everything. The Dog got in here and made a mess. Midnight used Sight here, and it damned near killed her. Never again.
The Literate Wasps: A huge paper wasp nest, where the wasp stings act as quills. Enter and be written on. Beyond this…
The Old Western: This appears to be a storybook area. Here the Black Dog has been contained, due to the party defeating it and Midnight binding it.
The Wizard's Sanctum: This is the area set aside by Fairchild, the creator of the Library. Nice place. A secret door led to where a young boy had been imprisoned, but now free due to the party. This boy has the Bardic talent of evoking powerful illusions and projecting memories with his music, for he is the finest fiddler in Georgia.
The Painting: Another room with a huge mural. The mural is a way of binding…
The Manticore: If you enter the painting and walk through it, on the other side is a ruined courtyard. Here you can meet the Manticore, who will trade secrets with you if you prove interesting. If you aren't interesting, well, you might be invited to dinner. The Manticore has told the group about Fairchild and his sons, and that the old bindings are losing their hold due to age. He has asked the group to find out Fairchild's fate, and in exchange he will tell them the secret on how the Library was created. The Manticore was also key in telling the group how to defeat the Black Dog, about the significance of the Clock, and will no doubt prove a good source for data… if the price can be paid.
Other rooms have been discovered, and will be added as we find them. The Library is a big, mysterious place, and perhaps we'll find the answers. Theomagus and Midnight are keenly interested in that, for their own reasons.
Other happenings:
A Clown Called Ashton: This is one of the Library denizens, who is apparently Blessed With Suck. His name cannot be heard by anyone but Stephen, who gets a throbbing headache instead. ACCA is a source for information and has given the group jobs in exchange for secrets. The group has agreed, mostly, to call him 'Conrad', since being called 'Ashton' enrages him. Conrad's jobs have led to the following:
- The Klitchzenni connection: ACCA had been angered and insulted by Klitchzen Blacklake, and wished for the party to deal with him. He proved a potent duelist, but Midnight managed to defeat him using psionic attacks. (The rules have been amended so Midnight can't do this so easily now). Upon defeating Blacklake, Midnight gained his titles and estates, and Blacklake is now enslaved to her Estate. Midnight has limited contact with the Klitchzenni, due to her being an Outsider, but she's started to get a bit of income from her holdings. (Game terms, Midnight's been building her Resources score.)
- The Casino: ACCA had a former friend and companion drop out of sight, and wanted the party to find him, supposedly to chastise him. He was working in a casino in Las Vegas after his debt as a Library Page had ended. Coincidentally, when the party arrived, the Global Occult Coalition started a raid. Due to Richard going nuts and Midnight providing illusionary cover, the GOC were repelled and the party managed to escape. How the casino managed to lose some of the money lying around at the time we'll never know. ACCA was heartbroken when he learned his friend wanted nothing more to do with him.
- Amsterdam: Another mission led the party to a toy and hobby shop to deliver a message to the owner. Unfortunately, the message turned out to activate a geas on the proprietor which resulted in his suicide. Worse yet, the man was a Foundation contact who aided them in procuring D-Class assets. The result was Richard going berserk and Midnight loosing a illusion of tigers running through the streets. Several people were killed in the resultant crush, and the hunt for Stephen Trentini intensified.
Odd House: Azi's been asked by Desiderata to go into Odd House and get her lipstick back. Odd House is a mysterious place owned by Gabriel, a powerful but enigmatic person. Theo is fascinated by the place, but Midnight wants nothing to do with it, since there's a presence blocking her magic there.
The Butterflies: Isi has seen signs of giant butterflies in the upper reaches of the Library, and due to her beliefs she has started to investigate what's killing them and why. Midnight and Theo have also started exploring the upper levels of the Library, where a lost tribe lurks in the chandeliers, and you can rent flying machines and butterflies to ride. Also, there seems to be a link between the Lost People and SCP-173…
The Circus: Sizzle and Blink's Pandimensional Flying Circus came to town, and the group went to see the sights, and got roped into the performances. Isi won a belt by defeating a giant, Azi won a medallion beating the trapeze artist, and Midnight won someone else's Library Card by binding a "Level Three Quasi-Demonic Entity." Fortunately for Edward, Midnight gave him his card backm but now she's stuck with Gally until she figures a way to release him without him tearing other people's souls in order to get back home.
The Bank Job: Yoric found a bank in Zurich linked to Marshall, Carter, and Dark, and the group investigated. Turns out it wasn't a bank, but a hidden organ transplant site with a regenerating woman providing the harvest, and a staff full of drugged web coders. MC&D will probably be quite upset with the theft of their asset… and Renee, the regenerator, is still traumatized by the experience.
Cassandra Remington: Why look who finally tracked Yoric down to be with him forever and always! It's the lovely Cass, former security expert and personal assistant to Dr. Gerald, who is now known as O5-7 for the Foundation! Unfortunately, Yoric had written his budding relationship off with Cass, and this is a whole lot of awkward. What's Cass going to do with her life now?
Chicago: Recently, Richard found a contact with the tools needed to deal with the Black Dog, and the group went to trade. However, the trade went sour since Richard's contact was planning to sell him out. The group managed to get out without any physical harm, but now the Foundation's looking for clues, since the former agent Yoric Elroy was identified at the scene, and there are presently orders to kill him on sight.
